How we select TIG, MIG/MAG or laser welding
The right process depends on material, joint geometry, edge preparation, visual requirements, batch volume and acceptable distortion. TIG provides controlled welds for stainless steel, aluminium and visible joints. MIG/MAG is productive for steel frames, brackets and assemblies. Laser welding can reduce heat input and distortion on precise joints, but it requires controlled fit-up and repeatable positioning. HABA Research can laser cut and bend the components, weld them in fixtures and continue with grinding, powder coating or protective packing, keeping responsibility for the complete manufacturing flow in one workshop.
