Materials we work with
We process a wide range of materials to order, covering the full workflow: laser cutting, bending, CNC milling, turning, welding and powder coating. Below are the standard materials we commonly work with. On request, we can source other grades and alloys.
Steel
Structural steels widely used in construction and metal fabrication.
- OL37/OL52, S235JR, S275JR, S355JR - common grades for welded structures and parts with varied mechanical loads (minimum yield strengths around 235/275/355 MPa, depending on grade).
Galvanized sheet metal
Steel protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing, recommended for outdoor use and lightweight structures.
- EN 10142, EN 10346 - standards for continuously galvanized sheet metal.
Copper
Excellent electrical and thermal conductor, used in installations and electrical components.
- Cu-ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) - for electrical applications requiring very good conductivity.
- Cu-DHP (Deoxidized High Phosphorus) - higher corrosion resistance, suitable for installations and heat exchangers.
Stainless steel
Suitable for corrosive environments and food or chemical applications.
- AISI 304 / EN 1.4301 - versatile austenitic stainless steel, widely used in food applications.
- AISI 316 / EN 1.4401 - austenitic stainless steel with increased corrosion resistance (marine and chemical environments).
- AISI 430 / EN 1.4016 (GB/T 4237) - ferritic stainless steel for decorative applications and environments with moderate humidity.
- AISI 441 / EN 1.4509 (GB/T 4237) - ferritic stainless steel with better stability at high temperatures.
Aluminium
Lightweight material with good corrosion resistance, excellent for lightweight parts and mechanical components.
- EN AW-1050A - almost pure aluminium with high conductivity.
- EN AW-5754 - Mg alloy, very good for corrosion resistance and bending.
- EN AW-6061 / EN AW-6082 - structural alloys, suitable for mechanically loaded parts.

Precision CNC milling
We machine parts from simple geometries to complex 3D shapes for prototypes and small to medium batches. We work with steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and engineering plastics, with tolerances up to +/-0.02 mm and finishing operations such as chamfering, threading and deburring.
Complete engineering in one finished product
Manufactured by HABA Research and produced fully in-house: laser cutting, bending, welding and powder coating - end-to-end precision and durability.

A few practical answers about us
We deliver metal parts and assemblies end to end: CAD design, laser cutting, sheet metal bending, CNC milling, turning, MIG/TIG welding, powder coating and light assembly. We support prototypes and small to medium batches with fast response times.
Steel (S235-S355), stainless steel (AISI 304/316/430/441), aluminium (EN AW-1050A/5754/6061/6082), galvanized sheet (EN 10142/EN 10346) and copper (Cu-ETP/Cu-DHP). On request, we can source other grades and alloys.
For simple parts, the usual lead time is 24-72h. For complex projects and assemblies, we agree a clear production schedule together.
Yes. We are optimized for prototypes and small to medium batches, with quick changeovers between orders and technical feedback for industrialization.
Powder coating, grinding/deburring, threading and simple marking. On request: anodizing, black oxide and sandblasting through validated partners.
Yes, we can deliver assemblies or kits with standard elements such as screws, rivets and inserts, packed and labelled by position.
Yes, we deliver anywhere in Romania by courier or pallet transport. Local pickup is available in Craiova. We can also organize intra-EU or continental transport.
