Stainless steel grade, finish and downstream operations

The best result starts with the correct stainless grade and a clear definition of visible surfaces. AISI 304 is a common option for general industrial parts, while 316 or 316L may be required when corrosion exposure, washing or the welded condition is more demanding. AISI 430 and 441 can suit specific technical or cost-sensitive applications after requirements are reviewed. The quotation should identify material grade, thickness, grain or brushing direction, critical dimensions, weld locations and any need for passivation or protective film.

HABA Research can coordinate laser cutting with deburring, CNC bending, TIG or laser welding, machining and packing. This is useful for covers, panels, brackets, enclosures and assemblies where cut edges, bend direction and final appearance must be considered together.
