Sheet metal fabrication
CNC sheet metal bending for custom metal parts
We manufacture bent sheet metal parts from drawings or 3D files, combining laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, powder coating and light assembly when needed.
Quote input
- DXF/DWG/STEP or technical PDF
- material and thickness
- critical bend radius or tolerances
- finish: raw, brushed, powder coated
Parts from drawings
We work from DXF, DWG, STEP or technical PDF files and check geometry before production.
Integrated workflow
Laser cutting, bending, welding and finishing can stay in one workshop.
Common materials
Steel, stainless steel, aluminium and galvanized sheet, depending on the application.
Capabilities and workflow
- Applications: enclosures, covers, supports, brackets, panels and assemblies
- Batch size: prototypes, small and medium batches
- Integration: laser cutting + bending + welding + coating
- Location: manufacturing in Craiova, delivery in Romania and EU

What makes a bent part manufacturable and repeatable
A reliable bent part starts with material grade, thickness, inside radius, bend direction and functional dimensions. Before production, HABA Research reviews whether the STEP model or drawing can be matched to the flat pattern, tooling and operation sequence. Springback, holes close to bend lines and accumulated tolerances can affect the final geometry, so marking visible faces and critical dimensions reduces clarification time. Laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and finishing can be coordinated for enclosures, panels, brackets and assemblies delivered ready for the next operation or installation.
Useful drawing information
- material grade and thickness
- inside radii and bend angles
- functional dimensions after bending
- visible faces and required finish
Reducing rework risk
For new parts, we can clarify bend sequence and sensitive features before the batch is released. For repeat parts, approved requirements support consistent quoting and inspection.
FAQ
Can you quote from a STEP file?
Yes. We can review the 3D file and ask for material, thickness, tolerance and finish details if needed.
Can you cut the parts before bending?
Yes. Laser cutting and bending can be handled as one workflow.
Do you handle small batches?
Yes. We are well suited for prototypes and small to medium batches.
Capabilities for B2B RFQs
From technical file to a part ready for the next operation
For CNC sheet metal bending, we review the project as part of the complete manufacturing flow. Final machine parameters, tolerances and lead time are confirmed after the files and project requirements have been reviewed.
What to send
DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES or dimensioned PDF; material, thickness, quantity, critical dimensions, finish and target date.
What we review
